Case Study

Astronergy is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of solar panels and energy storage solutions, headquartered in China.

The company specializes in providing reliable and high-performance solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial applications.

the ask

The goal was to launch a responsive website for Astronergy's Mexican branch, marking its entry into the Latin American market.
The site needed to showcase advanced solar technology and a diverse product range for businesses and governments. Mexico’s strong potential for solar energy made this a key step in establishing the brand's presence in the region.

Live Website

research

The design and content were shaped by stakeholder interviews and market research to ensure relevance for this diverse client base. Understanding that the sales process is lengthy and customized, I focused on creating a user-friendly site that encourages lead generation.

audience

Energy Managers at industrial facilities
Responsible for optimizing energy efficiency and reducing costs.
Operations Directors in commercial properties
Focused on sustainability and reducing environmental impact.
Facility Managers in hospitals or critical infrastructure
Need reliable energy for continuous operations and safety.
Government Procurement Officers
Responsible for energy infrastructure in remote regions, aiming to provide stable energy for essential services.

tight deadline

Drawing from stakeholder interviews and market research, I distilled complex technical documents into clear, user-friendly content. Due to the project’s tight deadlines, there was limited time to wait for high-quality assets from the company’s headquarters. As a result, I took the initiative to research, source, and curate suitable images, ensuring visual consistency across the site.

assets limitations

Where image quality was a constraint, I used a 1200px container to maintain a professional look. For pages with better assets, I implemented full HD layouts to highlight the company’s top-tier offerings. This flexible design approach allowed me to create a cohesive user experience despite the content limitations.

development

The design focused on simplicity and scalability, utilizing Tilda’s pre-built blocks to accelerate the process while maintaining clean and functional layouts.

To ensure a unique look, I customized these blocks through CSS, creating a visually distinctive site that performs well across all devices.

result

One of the project’s key requirements was to make the site easily editable by the client’s in-house design team. Therefore, I carefully optimized the CMS for seamless content updates, ensuring that the structure remains intact, even with ongoing edits by non-developers.

This balance between ready-made components and customizations allowed for a fast, efficient build without sacrificing quality or future flexibility.

The entire project, from research to final development, was completed within just 1 month.

I am grateful to the Astronergy Mexico team for the productive collaboration.
